Happy Monday My Beauties! I Hope You Guys Have Been Well!
It’s been way too long since we’ve connected and I won’t let it happen again!
After spending my entire spring break doing nothing, Sunday felt like the right day to do my face. I washed my hair, and the natural look was was too harsh for me not too do a full face. So Here are some Details.
I started with my look with my, ‘L’Oreal True Match Foundation’, in the color ‘Caramel Beige W7’. I love this foundation because it gives me great coverage and I don’t need a lot of it. I get great wear out of it, and their color selection is probably the most extensive out of all drugstore foundations.
After applying my foundation with my trusty ‘Beauty Blender’ I then started to high light my face. For this I used my ‘True Match Concealer’ ( also by L’Oreal), from the ‘cool’ color collection. Triangle under my eyes, a little on my forehead (between my eyebrows), and a little on my chin, then blending with the pointy part of my ‘Beauty Blender’ until everything looked even.
My next step was to contour my face, and I did this using my ‘NYC Color Wheel Mosaic Face Powder’
Using my Blush Brush, I simply added the powder under my cheekbones, around my jaw line, and made a ‘C’ shaped motion around the outside of my eyes onto my forehead, around my hairline. ‘Covergirl Cheekers Blush’ and A ‘Sephora’ brand blush was added to the apples of my cheeks.
The ‘NYC Mosaic Wheel’ also doubled as my eyeshadow. I first primed my eye with a ‘Sephora’ brand eye primer. Then covering my lid with a medium and light shade, moved on to a darker color and added that to my crease and outer corner of my eye.
Using my ‘L’Oreal Super Slim Liner’ I created a slight wing to my top liner. Filled my water line with ‘MAC Feline Eye Khol’ and coated my lashes heavy with my favorite ‘L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara’.
So I’ve decided for awhile now that I would try out this whole natural hair thing and I actually havnt been doing too bad. Instead of doing the big chop I just decided that I would keep my hair trimmed regularly and just wait for it to grow out!
I am really living my curl pattern and can’t wait for my hair to be at a length where I can wet it and go! Until then my hair is a bit on the damaged side from wayyyyy to much, at home dye. I’m going to try the, non to little heat, to see if that will help my hair in this process! I will just continue to rock braids and leave it be until my hair is back to the way it use to be!
Are any if you natural hair beauties? Any helpful tips, products, and natural hair styles I can try for the summer?
